ROBERTO BALDACCI

CTO

Rob studied and worked hard for many years through small SME to Large PLC businesses to understand and nurture relationships both internally and externally leading to the right commercial benefit for the desired results. Having spent time studying various methods and theories around Sales, Negotiation and NLP, he has honed skills to lead and develop teams to deliver amazing results as well as mange direct external achievements for shareholders. Having a very systematic outlook I have been able to improve efficiencies in businesses form accounting programs and strategies through to delivering and embracing one-page business plans for multiple businesses.

RICHARD JONES

CFO

Richard is a vastly experienced Finance Director with over 25 years’ experience in the finance sector, he specialises in helping complex organisations find finance for growth and achieve stepped increases in scale. He has held a number of senior finance roles with international companies, managing complex treasury functions and overseeing scores of company acquisitions including many in the security sector.

JONATHAN WAKERLEY

CEO

Jonathan is a dynamic, self-directed professional who is always striving for success. A leader and decision maker who works with people as part of a team setting clear objectives and implementation of processes. Whilst ensuring that a business has the best working environment and processes needed for optimum operational efficiency. A high performing individual who has the ability to calmly bring order to chaos, with drive and an eye for detail, providing improvements in margins and growth in sales and field operations. Jonathan has 25 years of knowledge and experience in the security industry with a proven track record for success in both organic and acquisition strategies.

CARA CLARKE

Group Commercial Director

Cara has been working in the Security industry for the last 10 years. Starting off in electronic security, running a branch for a national business and then moving into manned security Cara has worked in a diversity of positions which has built her knowledge within the industry. Cara joined City Security in 2019 to help to manage the implementation of new software and processes to streamline operations and refine efficiencies whilst improving the overall customer experience. Cara is that essential link between IT and Operations to allow seamless integration and practicality.

SOPHIE HARPER-BOOTH

Group Operations Director

Sophie joined Sight & Sound Security in 2013 after working for a top FTSE company in the City of London. Before this, she completed a degree in Business Management at the University of the West of England. Passionate about service quality, Sophie is well known as an innovator, focussed on delivering quality services and adding value to our corporate contracts. She has a keen interest in the development of people and motivates employees to develop the knowledge they need to effectively perform in their role and further extend their skills and performance to meet the needs of our clients.

MIREILLE BURGE

Head of HR

Mireille Joined City Group in October 2022, with over 20 years’ experience in HR and Operations gained in retail, hospitality facility and security sectors which compliment her CIPD qualifications. Her role is to work with Senior Management teams to deliver strategies around affective employment and development, whilst supporting the HR team to deliver a fair and comprehensive support system. Mireille is passionate about people and works to engage employees whilst adhering to our policies, procedure, and legal obligations.

ANDRE CROUS

Head of Compliance

Andre joined us as Head of Compliance and is responsible for all Certifications, Accreditations, Audits, General compliance matters and Health and Safety. Andre has more than 10 years’ experience working in the industry and the regulator, the SIA, as well as the leading certification body, the NSI. For the past 8 years Andre was head of Quality and Compliance for a multi-national security provider where he obtained a wealth of experience. He is a firm believer in continual improvement, leading this through the engagement of people.

SAMANTHA DAVY

Head of K9

Sam joined City Group through the acquisition of K9 Patrol in May 2021. She has been in the security industry since 2013, specifically within canine services. Before that Sam worked in a variety of demanding roles during a 13-year career with one of the UK’s largest financial institutions. Sam is passionate about delivering high standards of service, acknowledging the need for a good balance of the retention of key business, and growth through new opportunities in our efforts to become the UKs leading provider of security dog services.

JAMES LANGFORD

Head of Technology

James joined City Group in 2020, becoming a key member of our senior team. With our aim of efficiency through smart technology, he plays a key role in the design and delivery of this aspiration. James has worked with computers since the age of 7 and destined for a role in IT, started work life in computer sciences, initially in a sales capacity. Moving into a technical role where he was better suited, James became integral in the delivery of one of the first online e-learning companies. James has experience in delivery of vehicle telematics as well as communications sectors and we feel extremely lucky to have him overseeing our technology strategy.

Onur has been working in the security industry since 2006 and as an operations manager since 2011. He has also worked as Head of Operations previously.
He has worked in retail, commercial, corporate, night life leisure, mobile patrols and dog handlers.
